Description

The PROLENE™ Monofilament Suture, Blue, Size 3-0, 30", with KS Conventional Cutting Needle, is a synthetic nonabsorbable suture composed of polypropylene. It is indicated for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, especially in procedures requiring permanent tensile support. As a monofilament, it demonstrates excellent handling properties and minimal tissue drag during suturing.

The KS needle features a conventional cutting design, with a triangular cross-section and a cutting edge on the inner curvature. This configuration is optimized for penetrating dense or keratinized tissues such as skin. It ensures sharp, clean passage through tough tissue layers while minimizing trauma and needle deflection.
